🎭💚 Drama Club students celebrated the start of production for their 2026–2027 show, Shrek The Musical Jr., with a fun pre-audition mixer complete with Shrek-themed treats! Auditions will be held on September 26 from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM in the HCS Sanctuary. We can’t wait to see our students bring this fun production to life! 🎶✨

HCS and Living Word are helping to bring Christmas Shoeboxes to 2 jungle villages in Honduras. Candace Crothers, a Warrior alum, and her family are missionaries there. It is an extremely remote area that has no modern conveniences that we experience here in the States. We will be helping to collect 150 shoeboxes and supplies for a Christmas Party. Your homeroom teachers have information for you if your family wants to collect boxes. The boxes need to be turned in to Mr. Meco by Sept. 30th. Mrs. Karley will still be collecting the Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes in November if your family prefers to do those.

Our 9th grade students helped pack bags of food today in Bible class for a ministry called Bags of Hope. They served with big hearts as they prepared bags of food that will be given to kids in need in our parish.

⚽ Varsity Boys Soccer Interest Meeting
Attention boys in 9th–12th grade interested in playing soccer this year!

We will have a brief meeting on Thursday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the field at HCS to get a headcount of students interested in joining the team.

If you're interested in playing, please plan to attend!

Our StuCo meeting was filled with energy and involvement, beginning with enthusiastic reports from each of our elected officers. Students actively participated in shaping our school's spirit days through engaging voting stations. In a creative effort to symbolize unity, we completed a vibrant handprint project that showcases our collective spirit. The room filled with excitement as we played "Minute to Win It" games that fostered a sense of friendly competition. To further uplift our school community, students crafted inspirational note cards, which will soon be tucked into lockers as surprise motivational messages. StuCo is excited to continue the Warrior spirit this school year.

Attention 7th - 12th Grade Students: Drama club's auditions for Shrek the Musical Jr. will be held on Sept. 26 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the sanctuary. Any students interested in auditioning or joining drama club should see Ms. Krista for the Google Classroom code to learn more about auditions and the club. Practices will begin after auditions and will be held on Mondays in room 118 and Fridays in the sanctuary from 2:25 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
