Tuesday the 14th, students in PK-6th may wear a pink, red or purple shirt for FREE to celebrate Valentine's Day!


This week we celebrated National School Counselors Week. We appreciate our team here at HCS! Brittany Vera, Pat Carlos, & Meco Carlos.....thank you for all you do!!

Students in Mrs. Delgado’s 7th grade life science class dissected frogs as part of their organ systems unit.





Tomorrow (Friday the 3rd) is the last day to be able to participate in the annual COAT DRIVE. See the graphic for the specific items needed. You may drop your donations at the school office.


8th graders in Mrs. Delgado’s earth science class experimented with “Tectonic Snacks”. Students used the graham crackers to model the movement of tectonic plates in convergent, divergent, and transform boundaries.





This Saturday our Lady Warriors will be playing in their District Championship Game! Game time is 3pm here at the HCS GYM. Come on out and let’s cheer on these amazing girls!


Next week our elementary students will be participating in our annual PENNY WARS! Check out the graphic for all the details!



Staff Spotlight of the Week! Mrs Jenny does a great job of providing a high quality education for our kindergarten students that is rigorous and grounded solidly in God's word. We are blessed to have her as part of our staff!


This Thursday, February 2nd, is our monthly PTC meeting at 6pm. We will meet in the blended room. Enter through the sanctuary. We can not wait to see everyone!

Howdy, Warriors! 9th-12th graders: Join us tonight as Sadie Goes to the Rodeo! HCS gym from 6:30-9:30. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door. (Please follow dance dress lengths if wearing skirts-no shorts) Hope to see you there! Yee-haw!


7th grade students in Mrs. Delgado’s life science class complete a pickle dissection. The students used the pickle to understand lab safety before their frog dissections next week.





Seniors Abby Toups, Myla Johnson, Mary DiSalvo & Emma Bourg were honored at the Teenager of the Year banquet hosted by the American Legion. We are blessed to have such an amazing group of teenagers representing Houma Christian School. Great job ladies!


REMINDER - this is tomorrow! Elementary students and staff are celebrating the 100th day of school on Wednesday, January 25th! Check out the flier for all the details!


This Thursday, the 26th, you can enjoy all you can eat pizza at Sicily's while supporting our school!! Just let them know when you enter that you are there for HCS night! The time is 3-8pm, this Thursday.
