Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families of the horrific tragedy in Uvalde, Texas. We pray that God will bring grace, love, comfort, and peace to all who grieve. May God wrap his loving arms around the Uvalde community. This tragedy also reminds us that we always need to be vigilant and proactive to help keep our precious students and staff safe. Houma Christian does have a security plan in place, and we will be revisiting and prioritizing our plan to make sure we do everything within our power to keep everyone safe. We are already working with safety experts to bolster and improve our school-wide security protocols.
