
The junior high football team will host the first round of playoffs this Thursday, October 17th, at 5:30 PM at Warrior Field. We are thrilled for our junior high team! We encourage everyone to come out and show your support!


Warrior Fans, it's time to support your Warriors this Thursday, October 17th! We will have a school pink-out day to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Elementary students may dress down for $1 by wearing pink shirts with jeans or uniform bottoms. High school students may dress down for $1 by wearing pink shirts with jeans or uniform bottoms and pink accessories. That evening, keep your pink on and support Junior High Football at Warrior Field at 5:30 pm for the first round of playoffs, or head over to the HCS gym to support your Lady Warriors Volleyball team as they take on Ellender at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The seventh-grade class created DNA models using candy and explored some genetic coding to prepare for our upcoming lessons on genetics.







HCS Boys Basketball is putting on a fall break hoops shooting clinic on Monday, October 14th from 9am-Noon in the HCS gym. This is open to the public.

Girls junior high softball tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm @ Bayou Country Sports Park for girls in 6th - 8th grades. In celebration of National Custodians Day on October 2, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team. Our maintenance supervisor Ms. Shanna and our custodians, Mr. Oscar and Ms. Tina, are precious members of our Warrior Family. Their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail ensure that our space remains clean, safe, and welcoming. We appreciate all that you do!

Students in Biology I honors traveled to LUMCON for an educational excursion to explore coastal Louisiana in Cocodrie. The students looked at biodiversity, water quality, pH, and water salinity, and completed a squid dissection.
