We bid farewell to our Junior State Beta President Delaney Walker, Senior State Beta President Jaycee Charlet, and our State and National Ambassador Elise Babin. They have done an exceptional job representing Houma Christian and the National Beta Organization. They collaborated effectively with their vice presidents and secretaries to ensure the seamless execution of their conventions. Each delivered remarkable keynote speeches and expressed heartfelt farewells to their Beta families. They have embodied the four pillars of Beta to the fullest and continue to exemplify these values. Excellent work, ladies!

Students from Mrs. Delgado’s Biology I Honors class had an exciting learning opportunity today at the Terrebonne Parish Library! They attended a presentation by Nicholls State University on cholera, bacteria, and how they are transmitted. In addition, representatives from the Terrebonne Parish Library introduced students to valuable secondary sources to support their upcoming research project for their English I Honors class.
A big thank you to Nicholls State University and the Terrebonne Parish Library for providing our students with this enriching experience! #STEMEducation #RealWorldLearning #FutureScientists

Earlier this week, students in Mrs. Delgado’s Biology I Honors class (9B) extracted DNA from a banana in class.

Today, 9th-grade students Drew Pennison, Landon Cobb, and Luke Duplantis brought smiles to the faces of 4th-grade students by reading one of their favorite childhood stories. This heartwarming surprise not only entertained the younger students but also allowed the boys to take on a mentoring role, fostering a love for reading in the process.

Mrs. Delgado’s Earth Science class (8A) students used edible materials to simulate convergent, divergent, and transform plate boundaries!
