Missions is collecting Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and Rus Rus. The boxes sent to Rus Rus are being sent to Candace Crothers who is a missionary there and also a HCS alumni. If you would like to pack a box for Operation Christmas Child, please follow the instructions in the pamphlet sent home in the Warrior folders today. If you would like to pack a box for Rus Rus, please see the green paper with the QR code to sign up which was also sent home in Warrior folders today. Please include $10 shipping for all boxes. You may pay the shipping for Operation Christmas Child online to track your box. If you have any questions, you can email Mrs. Karley at karley_seay@houmachristianschool.com. Students can earn up to 2 service hours in Bible. 1 hour is given for each box. Collection of boxes will start next week and end on Nov. 8th. Please join us in reaching the world with the Gospel through shoeboxes.

Today our elementary Warriors had Tacky Tuesday and played the marshmallow game for Red Ribbon Week! Congratulations to the winners!

Today our 4th graders were working hard to create a circuit using a solar cell to produce enough electricity to make a motor run!










Anyone in 7th-12th grade who is interested in joining the Bowling Team (Boys and Girls) needs to sign up by Thursday with Mrs. Karley Seay. Try outs will be held on Nov. 1 at Creole Lanes at 3pm.

This Monday, October 23rd, we are starting off Homecoming week with a SPIRIT Kick-Off Night at Warrior Field! Junior High Football will have an intrasquad game & there will be performances by Junior High Cheer, Mid-Cheer, and Elementary Color Guard. Game time is 6 pm and entry is FREE for everyone! Make sure to come hungry, the concession stand will be selling Chick-fil-A!


Tomorrow (Sunday, the 22nd) begins our annual Winter Guard audition process. Winter Guard is a competitive group of girls who dance, spin flags, and toss rifles & sabers. We will teach the girls all they need to know, no experience is necessary! Girls who are in 4th-12th grade are invited to attend Winter Guard Clinics & tryouts. Parents are also encouraged to visit us in the gym tomorrow starting at 3 p.m. to meet the coaches and see what Winter Guard is all about! Details: https://5il.co/27jcw




Last night we honored Gavin Dugas for all of his accomplishments. As an alumnus of Houma Christian School, we are incredibly proud to have him represent us.




Today was an unforgettable day for the Houma Christian family as we celebrated Purple and Gold Day with Gavin Dugas. We extend our gratitude to Gavin for spending the afternoon with us.
