March 22, 2022:
Due to the potential severe weather threat today Houma Christian will have an early dismissal. Elementary (PreK-6) will dismiss at 12. High school (7-12) will dismiss at 11:30. Only elementary students (grades PreK-6) will be served lunch. There will be no bus service/after school activities/aftercare/athletic events today. Elementary will have spring pictures as regularly scheduled.

Houma Christian School is closely monitoring the weather for the possibility of severe storms tomorrow. We will evaluate the latest forecast tomorrow morning and let everyone know if there will be any changes to our regularly scheduled day.

This week at HCS...


Congratulations to Joseph Landry (10th grade), who won a bronze medal for the Long Jump at the Cardinal Relays at ED White Catholic High School on Friday. This was the first meet of the season for our warriors.


This week we are hosting our dance team clinics and auditions. The clinics are the 23rd-25th (Wednesday-Friday) from 3-4:30pm and the audition will be Saturday the 26th at 1pm. Girls currently in 6th-11th grades are eligible. See Mrs. Jenny Falgout if you need more information.

Tomorrow (Friday) are the auditions for our annual talent show! Report to Mrs. Katie's room (3rd grade classroom) at 3:15. Bring your completed form with you to the tryout. Forms are available in the school office. The talent show will be held on April 1st and is open to all grades!

Tomorrow is Family Literacy Night! Students will travel from station to station to hear a story and eat a snack or complete a craft
The goal of family literacy night is to bring families on campus to share in the love of reading.
All elementary families & siblings are welcome!


There are so many ways you can support Houma Christian School, but the most important way is through prayer. We are asking that our Warrior families take a moment on Thursday, March 31st and join us in these specific prayers.


Yesterday our tennis team had a match vs E.D. White. Jesus Diaz won 6-0, 6-2 against E.D. White. Great job!


The 10th graders dissected earthworms today! They were comparing the body structures and systems of roundworms and humans. They are leading up to dissecting the pig.
