This week at HCS....


Today our Elementary and Cadet Winter Guard teams were given treat bags from National Honor Society & Cheer. They are celebrating their final performance of the season, which will be tomorrow, Saturday the 26th at the Thibodaux Civic Center. The Elementary team performs at 4pm and the Cadet team performs at 4:48pm. Varsity also has a regular show performance tomorrow at 11:08am. Consider coming out and supporting these girls!


2020 Houma Christian Alumni, Isabella Faulk, recently came talk to our Run2Him girls to remind them about staying both rooted in their faith and true to God’s plan for their life. Isabella is Miss Louisiana Collegiate USA 2022 and we are super proud of her for achieving this title! Thank you Isabella for pouring into Run2Him program.
Isabella would like to thank the staff, administration, and supporters of Houma Christian School who all played a huge role in shaping her into the young woman she is today!

Tomorrow (Thursday) we are holding PTC Committee Meetings. We will begin at 6pm in the elementary hallway. Would you consider joining us and getting involved at one of our upcoming events?


Our 10th graders dissected owl pellets and will be studying the bones that they uncovered. They will determine characters that make vertebrates the same.

March 22, 2022:
Due to the potential severe weather threat today Houma Christian will have an early dismissal. Elementary (PreK-6) will dismiss at 12. High school (7-12) will dismiss at 11:30. Only elementary students (grades PreK-6) will be served lunch. There will be no bus service/after school activities/aftercare/athletic events today. Elementary will have spring pictures as regularly scheduled.

Houma Christian School is closely monitoring the weather for the possibility of severe storms tomorrow. We will evaluate the latest forecast tomorrow morning and let everyone know if there will be any changes to our regularly scheduled day.
