We are very excited to announce that William Vyas has been selected to represent HCS, Terrebonne Parish, and Congressional District 3 as a member of the Legislative Youth Advisory Council for the 25-26 school year. This is a very distinguished honor as only 31 students are selected to serve on this board to represent the voices of young people across the state. This opens the line of communication between youth and the legislature and gives students the opportunity to be involved in the workings of the state government. We are very proud of William for being chosen as a member of LYAC for this year. Congratulations!

For over a century, LSU has hosted the State Literary Rally with the goal of providing Louisiana high school students the opportunity to showcase their academic abilities through competition. More than 4000 students from over 350 schools participated in the State Rally this year. We are incredibly proud of our Houma Christian students who achieved academic awards at the 2025 State Rally. Their dedication and hard work have led to outstanding performance in various subjects.
