Biology 2 participated in a hands-on lab to extract DNA from strawberries and bananas. Students were able to witness the careful steps from mashing fruit to adding a buffer solution and cold alcohol to break open the cells and expose the DNA strands. Stay tuned for next week when they are able to extract their own DNA!
Our give back night at Zacks was a sweet hit with our high school students! Thank you to all that came join for fellowship and a special thank you to our alumna, Karoline Theriot, for providing the tunes!
Our 2nd graders are loving their Chromebooks! 💻 They practiced logging in, finding assignments in Google Classroom, and even got to “battle” each other while practicing math skills with the assignment.

We are excited to welcome Coach Kenneth Lacy to our Warrior family! Coach Lacy will serve as our Head Jr. High Boys Basketball Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. He brings valuable head coaching experience and also trains athletes year-round through his program, #BSTAcademyLLC. We’re looking forward to an incredible season under his leadership!

Mr. Celestine brings a wealth of experience and a heart for student growth to this position. He will continue to oversee student discipline, guiding our students to excellence while holding them accountable with grace and wisdom. Known for his strong relationships with students, Mr. Celestine leads with encouragement, accountability, and unwavering dedication.
We’re incredibly excited to have him as part of our leadership team, and we know he will continue to make a lasting impact throughout his time at HCS.

Houma Christian Senior Beta had an incredible experience at the National Beta Convention in Orlando—working hard, campaigning, competing, and creating lasting memories.
Highlights from the week include:
Elise Babin concluded her term as a National Ambassador by delivering an inspiring speech to thousands of Senior Betas.
Jaycee Charlet completed her service as Louisiana State Beta President.
William Vyas earned a 3rd place National Title for his outstanding solo piano performance.
Our Senior Performing Arts group impressed with their act "Betas Got Talent," placing 8th in the nation.
Way to go, Warriors!
SGA will be hosting their back to school bash at the Sandbox on Friday, August 15th, from 6:00- 8:30. Come spirited in your assigned grade color! See you there!
