Kick into the Season! It’s time for Girls Junior High Soccer Tryouts – August 21st from 3:00–4:30 PM. Open to girls in grades 6–8. Bring your cleats, water, and your game face as we prepare for an exciting season ahead!

Any girl in grades 7-12 interested in playing varsity soccer this school year should report to the field at school on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 6-7:30 pm. Wear a navy shirt, athletic shorts (at least 3-inch inseam), and athletic shoes/cleats. Bring water. If you have any questions, email maggie_stacom@houmachristianschool.com

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jamar Celestine as the new Assistant Principal of Houma Christian School!
Mr. Celestine brings a wealth of experience and a heart for student growth to this position. He will continue to oversee student discipline, guiding our students to excellence while holding them accountable with grace and wisdom. Known for his strong relationships with students, Mr. Celestine leads with encouragement, accountability, and unwavering dedication.
We’re incredibly excited to have him as part of our leadership team, and we know he will continue to make a lasting impact throughout his time at HCS.

Houma Christian Senior Beta had an incredible experience at the National Beta Convention in Orlando—working hard, campaigning, competing, and creating lasting memories.
Highlights from the week include:
Elise Babin concluded her term as a National Ambassador by delivering an inspiring speech to thousands of Senior Betas.
Jaycee Charlet completed her service as Louisiana State Beta President.
William Vyas earned a 3rd place National Title for his outstanding solo piano performance.
Our Senior Performing Arts group impressed with their act "Betas Got Talent," placing 8th in the nation.
Way to go, Warriors!


SGA will be hosting their back to school bash at the Sandbox on Friday, August 15th, from 6:00- 8:30. Come spirited in your assigned grade color! See you there!

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Parking passes will be sold in the gym on Monday from 10am-noon. Seniors can arrive at 10. Juniors can arrive at 11. Please come through the gym.

Wendy Delgado represented Houma Christian School at the Learning in Places Summer Summit in New Orleans. Through outdoor STEM learning, Wonder Walks, and exploring the history of place, she engaged in strategies to make learning more meaningful and connected to students’ lives and communities. #LearningInPlaces #WonderWalks
