Mrs. Amber's 3rd-grade class experimented with vinegar and baking soda to observe the reaction that occurred. They have been exploring various mixtures and reactions in their lessons.

This morning, PreK hosted "Drawing with Dad!" Dads had the opportunity to spend quality time with their kids while creating some pretty cool art!
HCS 10th-grade students participated in the Sudden Impact program to learn about the dangers of drinking and texting while driving. Thank you to TGMC and the Louisiana State Police Department for hosting this valuable program.
Mrs. Christin’s fourth-grade students utilized tools, mirrors, and a light source to explore the path of light. They engaged in both direct and indirect observations to study the behavior of light.

HCS would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
The fifth graders had an exciting opportunity to explore the Science and Art Museum in Baton Rouge. There, they engaged with interactive exhibits that inspired their creativity.

The 4th graders had an absolute blast on their field trip to Global Wildlife! They had so much fun feeding the animals and making unforgettable memories with their classmates along the way!
Mrs. Chanda's American History class had a great time playing games children used to play during colonial times.
HCS Winter Wonderland Christmas store will be open during the week of December 2nd-6th! Elementary students can shop for friends and family, with items ranging in price from under $1 to $5. All proceeds will be donated to Missions.
Thank you to everyone who packed a box for Operation Christmas Child. We are sending out 169 boxes this year!!! These boxes will bless children during the Christmas season, but most importantly be used to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please be in prayer with our students that these boxes make their journey, and that God moves in children's hearts around the world.
Yesterday, the Kindergarten class took a field trip to the High School Food and Nutrition class to whip up some gobble-tastic turkey cookies!
