Calling all Houma Christian alumni, staff, current parents, and families! Get ready to dribble and shoot at the 2nd Annual Basketball Tournament and Family Fun Day on November 16th, 2024! Join us for a day packed with tasty treats, fun booths, laughter, and memories.
Let's douse the flames and extinguish the Blazers! Show your spirit by wearing white shirts and accessories with blue jeans or uniform bottoms or dressing as a firefighter on Wednesday at school for free. (No white jeans or pants) Join us at the Warrior Gym as the HCS Lady Warriors host the first round of playoffs on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Admission for the game is $10 for adults and $5 for all students. Best dressed wins a $10 concessions credit. Go Warriors!
Next week is 4H Week from November 4th-8th! Students can participate by wearing:
Wednesday: Green socks (Elementary students)
Thursday: Green shirts with jeans or uniform bottoms for $1.00 (All students)
Friday: Clover Hunt during lunch or recess (All students)
On Wednesday, October 23rd, HCS organized a College Day for our juniors and seniors. Students were given the chance to engage with representatives from their potential future schools. A big thank you to all the college and university representatives who helped make our College Day a big success!

Today's theme for Elementary Red Ribbon Week was "Drugs Can't Find Me." Students dressed in camo and the lunchtime activity involved balancing an egg on a spoon while walking across the gym to "hide" it in a bucket. Here are the winners!
Cajun Day brought the spice to our midweek Homecoming fun! Lunchtime games are keeping students on their toes and creating many fun memories!
Yesterday, High School continued its Homecoming week festivities by celebrating the blues and honoring Louisiana's rich jazz heritage! The homecoming court hosted lunchtime games to boost school spirit!
Today, during elementary lunch, students enjoyed participating in a relay race themed around “Don’t Sing the Blues…Be Happy and Drug Free!” Congratulations to the winners of race!
HCS Elementary will host a special Veterans Day program on November 11th at 9:00 AM

In Mrs. Jenny’s Kindergarten class this week, students get to display their amazing pumpkin creations, each inspired by their favorite storybooks.
The deadline to register for the Warriorettes' annual mini dance camp has been extended to tomorrow, October 30th! If you're still uncertain about attending, you can sign up until the day of the camp, although a shirt may not be guaranteed.
• Thursday, November 14: Kindergarten to 3rd grade

• Saturday, November 16: Mini dancers will showcase their skills at the HCS Family Fun Day Basketball Tournament.

Attention students in grades 7 through 12: Bowling tryouts for both girls and boys will be held on November 7th at 3:00 PM at Creole Lanes.
