Attention Juniors and Seniors: Parking passes will be sold in the gym on Monday from 10am-noon. Seniors can arrive at 10. Juniors can arrive at 11. Please come through the gym.

Wendy Delgado represented Houma Christian School at the Learning in Places Summer Summit in New Orleans. Through outdoor STEM learning, Wonder Walks, and exploring the history of place, she engaged in strategies to make learning more meaningful and connected to students’ lives and communities. #LearningInPlaces #WonderWalks

On July 10, Houma Christian faculty members attended an ACT workshop that explored the new Louisiana Alignment Guide, which is a valuable resource that maps ACT College and Career Readiness Standards to the Louisiana Student Standards. Angel Toups, Wendy Delgado, Leslie Bourdier, and Kristi Landry gained tools and insight to improve assessment literacy, enhance curriculum planning, and support students in their paths to college and career readiness.

We are incredibly proud of our very own Louisiana Elementary Beta President, Marshall Bilbo, who, alongside his fellow HC Betas, spent countless hours campaigning for a national office. While he did not secure the national title, our students’ hard work and creativity shone brightly, earning a 2nd place national finish for their outstanding campaign skit!
Our Elementary Lead Outside the Box team also brought home a 9th-place national ranking, and our Elementary Performing Arts group earned 9th place as well with their fun and imaginative take on Willy Wonka.

Teachers at Houma Christian School participated in BJU Trove training with presenter Seth Redmond to learn how to navigate the platform, access digital resources, create custom assessments, and integrate with tools like Google Classroom. This training aims to enhance instruction, improve student engagement, and support a biblical worldview in the classroom.
Any student who plans to ride the parish bus system must complete the information on the Google form by July 11. This will enable them to ride the bus on the first day of school.
