Red Ribbon Week is October 24th-28th. On Wednesday, October 26th, all students (PK-12th) can wear red on this day in honor of National Red Ribbon Week.

Mrs. Delgado was invited to attend the Louisiana Department of Education’s first recipient of the 2022-2023 Louisiana Models of Excellence Award, Lafourche Parish School District. Among the honored guest was Louisiana Department of Education and local educational dignitaries. Mrs. Delgado serves on the Louisiana Science Teachers Association as a Board Member for Region 3. After the ceremony, Mrs. Delgado was invited to do a walk through and observe science classes at Central Lafourche High School.

Warriors, take a moment to learn about our October Warrior Monthly Mission.... Hope Restored. Hope Restored Pregnancy Resource Center is a pro-life Christian organization that believes in and promotes the sanctity of life. Any woman who finds herself in an unplanned pregnancy is welcome to receive their confidential and free services. Their clients receive kindness and compassion in a non-judgmental Christ centered atmosphere. Each client is offered the truth of life and education on all pregnancy options. Along with free pregnancy testing and limited ultrasounds our center offers to walk along side our clients from the moment a pregnancy test is positive until baby is two years old. Through our educational parenting program (Earn While You Learn), many of our moms will have a full nursery at time of delivery. Their goal is to empower women with education, support, and truth to choose life for their baby and themselves and walk with confidence into parenting.

9th graders in Mrs. Delgado’s Physical Science classes traveled to the New Orleans Convention Center to be a part of the ASM Materials Education Foundation IMAT Mini Materials Camp. Mrs. Delgado was awarded a travel grant for her students to attend the Mini Camp. Some of the hands on activities the students participated in was Electrochemistry, Solid Sate Diffusion, Nitinol investigation, Anodes and Cathodes, Fruit batteries, and Nondestructive testing.

This Sunday is the first Winter Guard clinic. Girls in 4th-6th grade are welcome to attend clinics on the next three Sundays. See the graphics for all the details. Happy Tuesday Warrior families! We would love your support by participating this afternoon in the DINE TO DONATE event at Texas Roadhouse. Students will have an opportunity to win a BREAD PARTY for their homeroom! Simply ask your server for the participation sticker to turn into your homeroom teacher tomorrow. The homeroom with the most participation will be treated to TEXAS ROADHOUSE BREAD PARTY!
