HCS warriors brought home two individual1st place titles from the Eddie Cole Classic cross country race Saturday at ED White for a season opener. Gigi Delgado and Brady Sins both swept the boys and girls varsity races by winning first place.
The HCS lady warriors team won runner up as a girls team. The HCS boys team took home 3rd place at the race today.

There will be a 4-H meeting on September 14 at 2:10 in Mrs. Stacom's classroom. Any interested student in grades 4-12 may attend. All club information will be given during the meeting.
There is an update to the Grandparents Day Schedule. Due to a scheduling conflict there has been an adjustment made to the dates. The 5th and 6th grade class will have Grandparents Day on Sept. 14, 2023 and PK, K and 1st grade on Sept. 28, 2023.

Students in Mrs. Delgado’s physical science classes were challenged to build paper towers in the engineers unit. They only had one sheet of paper, one meter of tape, and 30 minutes to complete the task.
The tallest tower stood 137 centimeters!
