SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!
Houma Christian School is excited to announce that we will be hosting the Warrior Summer Tutoring Program this summer. Our specially designed tutoring program is a rigorous four-week intervention program focusing on reading and math skills and is
designed to help unlock your child’s academic potential. This program is open to all students who are currently in kindergarten through sixth grade. If you are interested in placing your child in the Warrior Summer Program, you need to complete the google form using the link below. Someone will be in contact to confirm your placement within the program prior to being billed for the program.
The program will run each day from 8:00 am – 11:00 am. Parents can choose what
week(s) their child can attend. Student workbook and digital access are included in
the price.
The Warrior Summer Tutoring Program is for students:
** With gaps in math and/or reading
** Who do not want to lose their academic advantage over the summer months

Sandy is the type of person that brightens up a room the minute she walks in. She is full of energy and fun and works hard to provide the best learning experience for all her students. Her positive personality is contagious to all, which is needed so much in education.
REMINDER for all BUS RIDERS: The last day that the bus will run is MAY 18th. Families who use the bus will need to make alternative travel arrangements for the school days remaining after the 18th. Thank you!
6th-11th grade students who are interested in joining the swim team for next school year should attend the meeting this Thursday, May 11th. They will meet immediately following the high school morning meeting. 6th graders can either report to the sanctuary at 7:30 am on Thursday or get the details from Mrs. Dawn in class.
All parents are encouraged to attend the monthly PTC meeting, which will be held tomorrow, Tuesday the 9th at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the blended room and everyone should enter through the sanctuary.

Today Mrs. Pat's 12th grade anatomy & physiology students dissected sheep brains, hearts, and eyes to compare what they learned this school year to physical specimens.

Candygrams to celebrate the end of an awesome school year are being sold for $1. High school students can purchase during their lunch this week on Tuesday-Thursday. Forms were sent home with elementary students last week.
SUPER IMPORTANT REMINDER for all students attending the upcoming Europe trip. Mandatory meeting is going to be tomorrow, Thursday the 4th, at 6:45pm in the sanctuary.
