Att: Warrior Family
We wanted to give everyone an update. First, our continued prayers are with everyone that was impacted by this terrible storm as it was devastating to our area. We have had so many people and organizations over the past several days reach out to check on us, and we appreciate it very much. We want to let everyone know that Houma Christian School is fully committed to repairing our campus and quickly opening for instruction for our staff and students as soon as it is safe and appropriate. The campus did sustain damage, but nothing that cannot be repaired. We are already working with our insurance company to begin the mitigation process of getting our campus back to pre-storm operation. We are asking our Warrior family to please be patient as we work hard to develop a good reopening plan to bring students and staff back. We serve a big God and we are resting on His hope and promise to continue the great work at Houma Christian School (Psalms 138:8). We will keep our Warrior family updated on the Road to Reopening. We love and miss everyone. God Bless! Warriors Strong

Houma Christian School is committed to reopening when appropriate but will be closed until further notice. The campus appears to have only minor damage but will know for sure when we are able to do a full assessment. We are confident that we will reopen as soon as possible. God Bless!

Our hearts and prayers are with all our Warrior family during this most challenging time. Due to the extensive damage to our community, Houma Christian School will be closed indefinitely. We will persevere and overcome. Please stay tuned for updates. Romans 15:13

Praying for all those in the path of Hurricane Ida! #Warriorstrong

HCS will be closed on Monday, August 30th.

Due to the possible threat of Hurricane conditions in our area, Houma Christian School will be closed on Monday, August 30th. Please stay tuned for important updates on our website, Houma Christian App, texts, and Facebook page for possible extended days. More detailed information will be going out in the next couple days. Please stay safe and God Bless.

Our 10th graders are learning about osmosis using gummy bears. YUM!

7th/8th Grade Quarantined Students: Please log on to AR Home Connect from the school website, log in to your account, and take the Star Reading test today or tomorrow. You can do this during PE, study hall, or during any extra time. If you need your user name and password, please email your study hall teacher for that information. Thank you!

Tomorrow (Thursday) is an EXTRA dress down day! BUT - instead of $1.00, students will bring in items such as soap, small shampoos, wash towels, and/or hygiene items to dress down. Only one item is needed, but if they bring more, even better! Hope Community Church is in the process of installing showers that the homeless can use for free. We would like to create small bags with items needed for bathing that would be a blessing and can easily be given to those that use the showers. We will also include notes of hope and a Bible in these bags. We are so blessed that our school can be a small
sign of hope and comfort for those in need.

Here is a guide for setting up WebPams. Follow the guide to set up your account.
