Second grade was like mini architects in science class, stacking towers and unleashing their inner engineers. The mission? Discovering the ultimate combo for a rock-solid base and a mighty top to keep their towers standing tall!




Today, Ms. Sarah's 4B class acted as detectives and found text evidence!







We had an amazing time at our Literacy Night, "Camp Read-A-Lot!" Pre-K through 3rd graders and their families enjoyed a fun-filled evening of creativity, fishing for words, and reading by flashlight in cozy tents. We love seeing our Warrior families come together to celebrate the joy of reading!

Elementary had their first 4-H meeting on Tuesday. Students learned about 4-H and many of the upcoming activities.

This week at HCS!

Join us to support your JH Warrior football team this Monday, September 23, at 6 PM at Warrior Field! They'll be hosting an exciting blue and white game, featuring special performances by Mid Cheer, JH Cheer, and our Elementary Colorguard. Go Warriors!

Students in Mrs. Delgado's physical science class investigated the mass and density of film canisters. They faced the challenge of making three film canisters sink, float, or remain suspended in 1600 ml of water by altering their mass!

We are excited to welcome our HCS students back to school tomorrow, September 17! On Tuesday, students will follow their A-Day schedule. TPSD buses will be running their routes tomorrow, as well.

Due to the continued power outages, HCS will be closed on Monday, Sept. 16th. We will continue to provide updates on the reopening of school. Blessings

The meet at Highland Park Saturday 9/14 is canceled for cross country.

The varsity football game scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 will be canceled.

We hope that everyone is safe after Hurricane Francine. HCS will be closed on Friday, September 13th. We will provide updates over the weekend regarding our plans for reopening next week. Please stay safe. Blessings.

Due to the predicted impact in our area from Tropical Storm/Hurricane Francine, Houma Christian School will be closed on Tuesday, September 10, Wednesday, September 11, and Thursday, September 12. As of now, we are planning to have school on Friday, September 13.
