This Thursday we are honoring Dr. Suess with a TWISTED & TANGLED Thursday! On March 2nd, elementary students can dress down for FREE. The theme is twisted and tangled Thursday. Dr. Seuss is famous for twisting our tongues so let’s honor him by twisting our outfits! Backward, mismatched, and inside-out clothing with jeans. Shirts can be t-shirt style with no writing but school-appropriate patterns/pictures are acceptable. Tennis shoes must be worn. No boots or sleeveless shirts.

11th/12th graders attended the Sudden Impact Mock Crash today at CCA. A big HCS thank you to all who worked to put on this event. Thank you for caring about the safety of our student community. Our students were able to see first hand the effects of drinking and driving, as well as the consequences of not wearing a seatbelt. Thank you to CCA for hosting, the LA State Troopers, Terrebonne Sheriff's Office, Acadian Ambulance, Bayou Cane Fire Dept, Samart Funeral Service, TGMC, TFC Ross Brennan, and Kalie Gisclair for putting this event on each year.
