This week, the 2nd–6th-grade classes had a blast at the movies watching Light of the World! Students enjoyed popcorn and fellowship, and we are so thankful to AMC for hosting us.
Mrs. Wendy Delgado, Science Department Head, and Mrs. Bree Aguillard, Junior High Teacher, represented Houma Christian School at the 2025 Shell Energy Education Workshop in Baton Rouge. Their dedication helps bring fresh opportunities for learning and growth to Houma Christian School.
On Thursday, our Varsity Quiz Bowl team took a 28-18 win over Hanson Memorial in the first match of the season.

Yesterday, our students gathered together for See You at the Pole—a time of prayer, worship, and unity. It was a beautiful moment of faith and community as we lifted up our school, families, and nation in prayer.

Our 1st graders turned into word detectives on a Noun Hunt and had so much fun learning!
Yesterday, our 9th-grade girls gathered for a Bible study and devotion, focusing on Colossians 3:12. They discussed what it means to be children of God, how to live like Him through Christ, and the importance of knowing their true identity in Him. 💛✝️
Physics students began using robots this week, applying their knowledge of motion and energy in a hands-on way.
